Oil Pressure Gauge

As the topic says, I have no clue where to hook the Oil Pressure gauge to.

I have the 3.4 in my car. Any ideas???? I need to know by Saturday (july 10th)

I found out where the sender unit is but now I have another question

Where can I get this "T" pipe they are talking about, and what is it made of. Is this something I can get at Home Depot?

u'll wanna talk to Oldsman, I know he's done a few of these. Although I belive he's done the mechanical ones, not the electric...I could be wrong. Good luck man!

Do you want an adapter to hook up both the stock unit and the electric sending unit for the gauge, in that case should be able to pick up the T-Adapter at any local hardware store. Make sure you use plenty of teflon tape otherwise it MAY leak. BTW did you find out where exactly to put the new unit? if not I can go take a pic for you.

Goto Ace and get a brass T. I think Home depot has them but they don't have a big selection on sizes.

Basically get a nipple (pipe) extend out of block. put in T. then install factory and aftermarket sending units. Use teflon tape on every thread. Tight everything good but not too tight so you don't strip anything.

If you have room to where you can assemble T and pipe outside on engine compartment do so. that way it will make things a little easier. if not then do piece by piece and make sure you hold the previous installed part so you don't tweak it.
