^behind the steering wheel air bag. its how all the wires can run into the steering wheel without getting all bent and kinked. also contains your horn switch.

Like $130-140...
GMPartsDirect.com (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com) is pretty useful. All I did was go to the Catalog, put in 1999 Oldsmobile Alero, search for "clockspring" and up came a list of all the different ones that fit.

It only shows it when you go to check out.
