can anybody tell me all the parts i will need to turbo my stock 3400 and where to get them if possible? thanks

im not a motorhead, i wana start buyin parts now and do the project over winter. i know what all turbo parts are required but will and factory motor parts need to be upgraded? and also what kind of boost can the stock motor handle?

it's not about pressure, it's about power output. keep it under 250hp to be safe.
save up money and buy it all at once. but you should pre-order turbo headers which are available in a group buy for $429 on here.

i just looked at the post about the headers, sounds like a good deal. i was really hopin for around 300whp. what turbo do you reccomend?

It depends... GT3076R if you had $1200 or so...

stock 3400 handles about 8-12psi (depending on what sized turbo)
but like ion said... its more HP, not psi

Yeah, like my car will handle 14 psi from my Garrett T3 50 trim .48/.42, but it would not handle 14 psi from a Garrett GT3076R yet. Lots more airflow, lots more power. Need a stronger head gasket and head studs to handle it without getting leaks.
The pressure is just a number... the flow at that pressure (CFMs) is what's important. And horsepower/torque output. Stock rods and pistons can only sustain so much power before they snap or bend.

read my thread entiled "turbo progress" there is alot of info in there that will help you seeing as i have the 3400... also note that mine is not turboed lol
