View Full Version : Plugs
Im sure there is a thread already but i cannot seem to find it but what are the best spark plugs to run in the 3.4? I am having a misfiring problem from #4 and i have read on here that changing plugs helps.

What about these new "pulse plugs"?? http://www.pulstar.com/ Are they any good?? Do they perform the same?? Do they damage the vehicle in any way??

I would never pay the amount of money those plugs cost to even try it

the pulstar are a total waste of money imo. the ac delco iridiums are your best bet, but whatever you do, NO BOSCH!!

Pulstar plugs are not worth the money, but they do work, a little.
Multiple electrode plugs are a waste, the spark will take the easiest route, it's not like you're going to be having multiple sparks (one to each tip) or anything.
NGK all the way.

NGK and Ac-delco have a share with each other i believe....or they did at one point.
i remember i had some AC-delcos that had "NGK" engraved on them...... now the new ones say "parts from japan"

Why do we still post answers to these threads? I can't even count how many times this question has been asked. Use the damn search button.

ngk pretty much builds the acd plugs. ngk is a japan made plug, so if it says that on the acd plug its probably made in a ngk factory.

I had bosch but I think that Ac delco rapid fires are the best

^bet that about after a month it started running like shit and no power with the bosch though. thats a common problem when they are put in lots of gm vehicles for some reason.

It has to do with the single platinum plug and a waste-spark ignition system. It wears the plugs unevenly. The bosch design tends to exaggerate the effect.

what would some of these crappy symptoms be? I have bosch wires on my 3.4 and have gotten some stuttering starts.
Sorry to thread crap/jack but I never thought to chekc on this before.
