The gauges are nice, but I don't like the blue trim.

The rest of the car looks nice and clean.

Looks good man...I'm glad you're liking your new wheels. I think I may built my house over here up on stilts too just so I have a place to park my car without having a garage.

thanks the wheels are awsome, took some cleaning up, anyone got any tips for the few places where the chromes flaking on the inside?

CactusWill

Can't do much about that, its peeling because it wasn't kept clean in the past. Just keep them clean in the future and you can wax the areas of exposed metal to help keep it from rusting.

AleroDrime

should i clip off the few flecking spots there are and sand it smooth there or let them be?

CactusWill
07-09-2009, 01:20 PM
Chip them off but don't sand chrome rims.

Yes, they came straight off and then I left for Iraq and they sat for a good bit of time in the garage collecting dust and anything else that would crawl in there.

Another fail under your belt, he was referring to 1337 as a number that is considered elite in the world of the interweb.

And besides for the chrome pipe almost shorting out your entire car and wanting to pick chrome flakes off the insides of your rims with wire cutters, you have not failed nearly as bad as we all would have expected. Congrats.

Not a big fan of the stickers (aside from the Eibach one) but overall very clean. As for removing the paint from your bezel, you could try sanding it down with a fine grit sandpaper and/or using a mild paint thinner/remover to speed of the process. If you have another one on the way you probably don't need to worry about it too much.

trust me its not, you dont wanna see the top of the drivers door, bdyman would have a conniption. the passenger side of the rear bumpers effed, noticeable crease in the rear bumper, rear passenger door has marks from other cars, and drivers sid has some PITA light scratches, front fender on the drivers side has paint coming off,

i wanna get this car repainted in a few years real bad

Technically they're diagonal pliers, side cutting pliers or side cutters.

My granddad always says a car looks best the first time its wash after a wax and it held true

here is the car all cleaned up, i gotta say im really proud of my car now, its beginning to look really good, just wait till i get tint, maybe here b4 the months over, after that i dont know anything to do to the outside but save my money for the AAS kit and get the entire car repainted to fix the "issues"(last pics, all of these were prior to my ownership).

lol b4 u laugh at my mistakes and goofs on this site, please look at what ya'll have helped me accomplish
