Is that little lip in the front held on by those odd things by the foglight holes? That looks gaudy as hell, those metal bars are unnecessary imo.

It's a splitter to protect it from the ground, I think. How do you know that it doesn't exist? Has anyone here ever tried to buy it?

it's a photoshop of a kit from a mitsubishi or something superimposed on an alero, Doesn't exist.

Some guy in this forum did something similar, but all custom, not something you can really order already made.

It can be done, (not that is should be) but it's all custom.

Really serves no function and first nice dip or pothole you hit, gone

How much custom? I can put on a bumper, but how much do you think would have to be done to it? Besides cutting it and drilling holes?

Im no too sure if I'd trust volfenhag alero too much. lol

Probably really custom. Maybe you could cut the to off an alero body kit, and put it together with the bottom off that kit (not really a body guy, so I dont know if this is possible). Also, depending on the width of that kit, you may also have to narrow it or make it wider. It is really way too much of a hassle, and I think you'd be better off with your current kit.

Yea I think I'll just stay with what I got before more money gets invested. lol. But it would be nice to have a new kit that nobody else around has.

It's a front spoiler. In fact it serves a lot of function for FWD cars and any car really, unlike the rear wing. This is supposed to be an adjustable lip to harvest front downforce.

JoshGentry: lol. got any pics?

Heres a photobucket link with a couple pics of the OSV. If you wanted it you'd have to wait for some issues to get fixed though.

As Ion mentioned, it's a splitter designed to increase downforce on the front end. They cover the entire bottom of the front end, keep the air from escaping out the bottom after it flows through the front bumper. This creates a high pressure area above the splitter, and a low pressure area below it, basically sucking the car down to the ground, and increases airflow to the intercooler, radiator, or other coolers as a side effect.

Usually they're used on race cars to provide front downforce while the rear wing provides the rear downforce. People put them on street cars to get the "race" look or if they take their street car to the track, but they actually do slightly increase stability at highway speeds or faster.

i think i have seen something like that before, it was custom built from a peice of wood and put on to create downforce to the wheels i guess

Bottom line, it will make the car look faster.

even if you do it yourself, your probably looking at a few hundered bucks to do this, and for what.

Put the money into a mod that will actually benifit your car
