After doing some research, before swapping out my dash pad, I found that that the steering wheel on the Alero requires a steering wheel puller with these little "J" shaped legs to get it off. I checked Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts only to find that their pullers do not have these special J-legs and they don't even sell them seperately.
The next step was to check Ebay where I found the legs, by themselves, were like $20. I would still need the basic puller set which is around $20 so that's $40 all together. I don't think so.
Here's the solution:

$11.99 plus shipping, or tax in my case, and you're done. I can deal with that. You get all the regular puller tools plus the J-legs. Summit Racing also has the same deal. Just thought I would post this in case anyone is looking for a reasonable steering wheel puller.
