OK, there's a service engine soon on the right side of the instrument panel and one on the left. The one on the right has come on on mine. Anybody know which one does what or senses what? Gonna head up to Advance and let them hook up their diagnostics reader and see if it reads a code. Hmmm....:( Thanks for any thoughts.

Checked gas cap and it was not tight. Disconnected battery and hope that resets codes.

theres SES and SVS. SVS is electrical stuff... SES is engine/exhaust. i think.

your OBDII jack should be just under the dash, below the steering wheel. take it to any auto parts store and they should be able to hook it up and read the code for you.

Until you get the code read, nobody can help you out.

It most likey something really simple, but again, you have to get it read first

Got it read. It was the gas cap being loose. :yahoo: The computer stores a code that the emissions system has a leak and you have to have the reader to erase the code. Advance wouldn't erase it due to a heavy fine the State of North Carolina would hit them with for erasing it. He said I could buy the reader for like $130 and do it but he couldn't. Suggested I take it to an inspection station (North Carolina requires emissions and safety testing yearly) and that they are authorized by the State to do it. I took it to one and they erased it for $20. Everything is good. Couldn't believe that something as simple as the gas cap being loose would cause the computer to trip. Fortunately I learned that it could be that on our Club site or I would have NEVER thought to check it. Thanks guys!!!!! ;)
