Hmm, Lights?

Ok call me crazy or stupid, because I know I am both :D but thats not the point. Point is I didn't know what to keyword for the search button. And its 2:20am.

Sometimes when I'm driving all my lights will turn on i.e.
Trac-Off
Anti-lock
and SES light.

My dad has taken it to the shop,checked the oil, filters, everything pretty much, but they say everything is fine. It usually happens when I'm taking off or I hit a speedbump. Could it be a sensor?

And also my signals sometimes don't work, but I'm thinking that could be a short in the wiring by the steering wheel?
^Although that problem is usually solved by turning on my A/C...odd.

Could I get a link maybe that'll answer these questions, or maybe a few words of advice?

I need to get my car inspected by May, thats why.

Wheel bearing / hub assembly. Almost 100% positive on this one man. Do you hear any grinding or growling coming from your front end yet? - you will!

It was mentioned in another thread, that while it could be your hub needs replacing, it could also be a loose wire or connection. Someone mentioned that if the hub needed replacing, that the SVS light would also be on? I personally do not know, just saying what was said in another thread.

so if the SVS light is not on, then i dont have to worry? it has a whining if i turn left

my hubs were bad (terrible growling noise that started at 30), but i never had any lights on. the anti-lock and trac off lights would come on maybe once every month or so, when it rained. SVS never came on, ever. fixed the hubs last week, and now my anti-lock and trac off lights come on every time i drive. but they usually come on when i'm going slow (ie pulling out of/into a parking space). and my low trac light comes on every time i turn the wheel. but the growling's gone! why are these lights coming on when i just fixed the hubs? and YES i plugged the sensors back in.

I'm going to say wheel hub, thats gotta be the most asked question on this forum :lol:

for the SVS light, maybe it depends on the year of the car?

I'm sure Cliff can enlight us on this one.

oh yeah oops it is the svs light sorry all.

hmm as for the growling its pretty quiet in and out of my car.

i'll have to check the hubs. thanks and sorry for not really wanting to use the button this time around, it was late :D
