Car batts don't like going dead...it'll drastically shorten their life span.

That being said, it might not be the battery. Check your battery contacts. Check your battery voltage, when it won't start. Have your alternated checked. Check your wires

Clean the terminals, they might be corroded.

easiest way... mix hot water and baking soda. it'll rinse that corrosion right off.

i wonder if its somthing slowly drianing the battery overnight. Like the trunk being shut but the light no going off, like leaveing your lights on but you dont know or cant tell? Is that possible for him

This happened to me twice. The battery would just go dead overnight without anything obvious being left on or draining it. The battery in my Alero now is it's 3rd battery. Never found out what it was.

I found out that the glove box light sometimes stay on if I dont close it correctly. That could be something to look for. (Or maybe was it in my Regal and I'm mixing up?)

just shovel out 50 - 70 bucks and go buy a new battery.. it'll save you all the trouble of finding out where / what the problem is.. you'll have NEW posts, and you wont have to wonder if your car is gonna start in the morning..

if you dont have 50 - 70 bucks.. have someone take you AND your battery and have it tested.. then come back here and let us know- we dont wanna know that if you jump it it's fine all day or if it started or not.. we wanna know if your problem is solved!

if you have no idea how old your battery is.. it might be time for a replacement anyways.

now this morning it started up just fine

see i could be a simple light drawing energy over night sometimes when maybe a sensor isnt telling it to cut off all the time like it should

i've been having the same problem.

replaced the battery, which was dead.

relocated the alarm horn which had loose connections.

still got some parasitic draw.

had the same problem, was due to a dead cell in my battery. go to sears and have them run the battery check machine on it
