sensor and thermastat

how had to replace the coolent sensor for the gauge and the thermastat?

my cooling fans dont turn on high when the car idles and gets warmer so it rises to 3/4 hot ... i figure this could be thermastat and sensor problem?

any ideas noone i have asked can give anything better than that...

(already replaced fan relays)

Post #35, first picture. Thats the temp sensor. Where the upper radiator hose is running to, goes over the t stat cover. Under that neck is the t stat. It under the throttle body.

so i replaced the temp sensor and getting ready to do the thermastat, have replaced the relays for the fans but when it idles it still raises rather quickly and the fans dont kick on high... any other thoughts?
