Amp installed today with subs working
Started car tonight , no light on guages buttons and ac control etc
Used flash light to tell speed the whole 25 minute drive home
Auto headlights didn't work either, turned them on with the switch
Is it a fuse I tried to find out wich one by the manual no luck for me maybe one of you know
Help!
Could it be the battery is being drawn on too much by the amp
I haven't been using it with the car off at all
Please help

battery's somewhat irrelevant once the car's started, it's all alternator.

even if you looked at it... sometimes things get overlooked. replace it.

if it was teh battery or altornator, how come those went out instead of the cigarelle outlet accesories, i would this the accesory lights would be minimal engergy compared to those

if it was the battery, your car wouldn't start.
if it was the alternator, your headlights wouldn't work much at all. (super dim)
you blew a fuse. its possibly one under the hood. theres another common illumination one under there

there is a fuse box under the hood. its the primary power center. i've blown fuses in there doing led projects.
its very common.
no i don't remember the number. get your manual and look it up.

Pull every fuses out on both sides of the dash replacing anything blown. One by one.
Blew a fuse or majorly messed up the wiring... Did you hacks the plug off the harness?

On the back of the fuse box cover that is in the engine bay, you have all the fuses listed, well it is in my car.
Actually, I took the time to look in my Haynes manual, and the only thing that is mentionned from the fuse boxes is this : "The engine compartment fuse box is located on the left side of the engine compartment and contains fuses and relays - The inside of the cover has a legend to identify the fuses and relays."
So If you don't want to go outside to take a look at which fuse is doing what, we are not going to go ourselves... ;)

Lets see...your lights worked fine before you attempted to hook up the amp..Now what do you need to hook up an amp.
You need +12 from the battery shouldn't mess up lights
You need a ground to the chassis...shouldn't mess up lights as well
You need a REM wire to turn the amp on....could mess up the lights if you put it on the wrong circuit....check where you are getting power from the REM lights.
You need to start thinking in terms of wires that you have messed with during this installation. It's almost impossible for someone to figure out what's wrong when we don't know what wires you have hooked where.
Good Luck!

^^like he said. the REM wire should be connected with the car's power antenna booster (cant remember the color of the wire, but I'm sure Ryan knows that)

Well, maybe a wire is loose or not covered up correctly, and that caused the fuse to blow. I would recheck all my wires to be sure :)

I almost want to bet that the rem wire for the amp was on that circuit. But you could have hooked it anywhere...LOL...
I knew the amp was fine but what I was getting at was tracing back the rem wire to see if you had put it on that circuit in which case caused the fuse to blow from it trying to draw to much current.
Finding the problem is one thing...finding out what caused the problem is another story.
Glad you found it! Now find out what caused it!
.....oh yeah if you just replaced the fuse then everything isn't right again, and what ever caused it could still be lurking...so pay attention!!

It blows to protect your car's wiring.
Check your Amp Hookup.
Was it done yourself? By Some Futureshop Dumbass?

i assumed it was during reconnecting the battery cable, few sparks, and bad attemps, had to disconnect air intake to get to in and get it on in the end. kept hearing the radar dectector cut on while i was tightening it, no worried, almost a week or so and no problems on anything
am loveing no chimes btw
