Well, after much waiting, I finally got my car to Cecil County Dragway again, and this time, with the S&S Headers bolted up. I'll have pictures of the slips up tonight once i can get a good shot, but it looks like my time on the "Fastest N/A Aleros" sheet will have to be adjusted. :P

I ran with no spare tire or jack, and a little over a half tank of gas. Temperatures were around 55. No wheel spin at all, tires gripped like a dream even with traction control off, and the headers really pull in around 3500+ rpm. My best run of the night was as follows:

R/T: .498
60: 2.149
330: 6.135
1/8: 9.453
MPH: 75.93
1000: 12.314
1/4: 14.748
MPH: 93.04

Very nice time. You gotta change you sign too ;)

I really got to get to Cecil

I actually stopped pulling the spare and jack out, in fact I ran the first race of the season with the WAI. I couldn't believe the difference the CAI makes.

2 days, identical in conditions.

CAI 14.825
WAI 15.454

15.454 was with the jack and spare and a lot of gas, car was 100 lbs overweight, so it should have been a 14.95 with the extra weight

Signature fixed :P. I remember when i first put the CAI on my car, those were the days haha. I had all kinda broken headlight housing in my air tube somehow, so with the CAI on there, it was like waking the factory freak up :).

I'm just sad that there arent any affordable mods from this point on that I can do really. I'm thinking of either getting my PCM reprogrammed at a dnyo, or having one made for me and shipped from MP Racing.

Oh and btw, my second run, my reaction time was .082, so I DO know how to launch now, just didnt nail it the first run, which happened to be my best time.

Nice run. Glad to see the times for our guys going down.

My Daytona always ran a little quicker at Cecil than at RP, too. If I recall, I think the first 60' is quicker there due to a very slight downslope, and that makes all the difference.
