I'm not sure about getting it off the window but I'm sure they sell something at a auto parts store that is equivalent to GM's epoxy.

i really dunno what to use to get it off, but mine literally fell clean off with the epoxy still caked around the clip. I just sanded down the old epoxy, and used JB Weld to put it back on. held so far. i would try and see if you can pry a little of it up and see if it will just fall off....

I don't know how many people would be interested in this idea, but how realistic would it be to get a group buy on the window clips cast out of aluminum or some other material stronger than the plastic that keeps breaking on us? For the coupes we would need 4 clips but I'm not sure about the sedan owners.

bump. This would be a very cost effective investment considering some people say they spend $400-500 on window problems. I don't know anyone that would be able to do the cast but maybe some of you do. Let me hear your opinions.

500 bucks on window problems??? i never heard of that, unless like its a caddy and the window regulator is 350 bucks plus labor then maybe, but regulators are cheap, so are these mount tabs,

it window urathene that holds them to the regulator, thats it so over time ya its going to give out, there dirt cheap they work fine its the material used to bond them to the glass is whats important not the actual mount tabs

Anyone here know how to make a cast of the clips or know someone that does?

bdyman: I meant make a cast of the clips on the regulator cable itself. The window sash is very cheap like you said, and the only reason they broke was because the white clips on the regulator broke dropping the window inside the door, I'm lucky the window didn't break.

i know I need at least two new window regualtors cause they either get stuck doing down or wont go down at all or will have to repeatedly press the button until it finally comes down or up
