BC Style Front Bumper Finally Complete

After 6 months of hard work... I finally finished this bumper on wednesday the 18th... I want to prove everybody wrong about making this bumper... So I did... Tell me what you think.

Oh well. tighten up the gaps near the headlights and it looks nice. I would keep going on the entire body possibly to make it a wide body look.

It's custom fabbed using the a different factory front bumber and I took a BC body kit front for a 99 eclipse that I got for my sisters car and she decided she wanted a different kit and I cut it and molded it and the popped a mold and made my first custom bc bumper.

I took a second factory front bumber to get the headlight holes and the mounting points... then I took the bc body kit front and I cut it in half long ways down the middle of the actual bumper spot... then I put them together to see how off the sizes where... I then split it vertically down the middle and added about 2-2.5" to the center of the body kit bumper... I then put them together and popped a mold and took it to my friends fiberglass shop(they make swimming pools) and he spray fiberglassed me a bumper with a white gelcoat

I finished that front bumper about a month ago. I'm just waiting on my Invader 2 side skirts and a new Showoff 3 rear bumper. And I don't have or know how to you Photoshop. Good job on fabbing up the front bumper. Understood the car is still incomplete caues it does need the rest of the kit to look good. Keep the spoiler if you like it, not my style at all, but hey it's your car. About the molding of the front bumper and fenders, i would reconsider that. Molding fiberglass to metal really wont work. Bdyman will probably chime in on this if he even reads all this 5 pages of craziness. But yea, the bumpers were molded on mine, and the rear molding broke off, not because of hitting something or anything of that nature, just the pure pressure of the bumper flexing. So unless you want to have to redo the molding down the line cause it randomly cracks, i would advise against it.
But yea, congrats on making the front bumper and keep up the custom work.

But you have NO PROOF WHAT SO EVER THAT HE DID NOT CREATE THAT KIT. the ebay kit that stoopid posted is a photoshop. its been around for years. no one that i know of has ever bought the kit because the picture is an obvious photoshop. As you can see from OP's first post he simply stated that the BC style bumper was finally created.. He never once said it was his own design. Stop trying to scare the noobs away. And lastly.. The only reason I'm letting them do the turbo kit is bc the are building the kit exactly to my racing engine that I'm building. I could do it but they already have everything I need and I could buy the kit and do it myself, but they want to redesign the kit to make is better and more efficient under high boost.

A few comments on your list of engine mods, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop using "stage 3" blah blah blah, that tells us nothing about what you are planning. Now if you described it by saying HP performance t3/t4 turbo 9 psi with fmic and boost ported heads with comp 29629 springs and si valves. That makes alot more sense and tells all of us how you are planning to accomplish what you claim. My other issue is that you have custom length pushrods listed and no cam. There are no gains to be had with longer pushrods and no reground cam, it will just prop your valves open when they should be shut causing all kinds of trouble. If you want higher lift without a cam go check out the thread about the high lift rockers over at 60*v6.com. So just for future reference "stage 3" may make you feel like you know what you are talking about but when you use it with people who really know their shit you just sound stupid. Not trying to bash you just be informative. If you have any questions about the 3400 you should really check out that website. They also run a store that I think is much better than milzy. Ben is on here and is one of the most honest and reputable people I have ever dealt with. You can always PM me with questions too. Just for the love of God finish the kit and paint and lose the wing! Good work though. /rant.

Also like I said... the side skirts are almost done and then I have to wait on my fenders so I can mold it all on except the front bumper... I want to have a smooth flowing body kit... I know I need the side skirts on but it's taking a while to get the fitment perfect... Vented side skirts are hard as hell to get that perfect fitment.

i also will not dispute wether you made it or not, i'm just gonna say nice try..the fitment it horrible, the gapson the lights, the bumper comes down way to far to match any sideskirts currently produced, and the front whole need to be bigger for your STAGE 8 INTERCOOLER!!!!

and that turbo company has horrible customer service, i had half of the turbo kit over two years ago, waited a whole year for the other half before i finally asked for my money back......

so what are you gonna do to the motor to hold the STAGE 3 turbo!!!

He said he had 3 of them left and was trying to sell them on here. I just questioned if he was the original creator of this bumper. And if he was, would he show progress pix. But again, he has had the same excuse for no pictures as he did in 2007.

But its whatever, Bumper looks really good. Rest of the car looks like a piece of shit. But to each their own... Lotsa of people on here hate my AED kit and rims. Oh well.

Weather he was the creator or not the bumper he has on his car is not photoshopped is what I was getting at. I called bullshit on Ground Dynamics a year or two ago when I emailed them asking for pictures of the bumper. I told them the picture they have on thier site is photoshopped and they told me that "weather the picture is photoshopped or not that is the only picture we have of the bumper. We wouldn't advertise a product if we didn't sell it."
The point is the guy has the bumper, it has been made, and no one else has it which would lead me to believe he may have made it.

And I'm sure lotsa people don't hate your kit, maybe AED in general.
