Dome light problem

Well today I went to replace my dome light bulb and for some reason, the switch that turns it to off on and door is just hanging loose. It will not "Snap" into place, therefor it isn't working.

When you put the transparent cover back onto the unit, that should hold it in, I think. I've had some problems with mine too, its just fighting with cheap plastic thats all.

i cant see the pics, so i'll post again tonight when i get home (at work ALL DAY) but i've taken my slide switch out a couple of times and put it back in w/o a problem

When you put the transparent cover back onto the unit, that should hold it in, I think. I've had some problems with mine too, its just fighting with cheap plastic thats all.

I did put the cover back on but no luck.

take a look underneath it. there are some little clips that hold the slider into place. they suck... but they should be there.

Ya I see the clips but they wont clip in.
