20x8.5 fitment

I have a chance to pick up some wheels for a great price brand new in the box still. Problem is they are 20x8.5. Im not sure of the offset yet, but I believe they are 35. Im baggin the alero again and im just curious if anyone has any experience or input on whether or not I will be able to lay out on the wheel. I will be running a 225/35 tire if I decide to get these.


I know a wheel distributor here in st.louis, and i might pick these wheels up and see if he can swap them out for the 18s.

you wont lay with bags. you need 7.5" rims. I had 18x8.5 before when i had my bags and it hit the bag and wouldnt fit. Thats why I had to get new rims. They will work with your avg drop setup but not any adjustable suspention

and btw 225 on a 8,5 wheel is too stretched for a tire in my opinion, on mine I got 255 and it's perfect fit

Boooo.. I love these rims.. but they dont make them in anything but 8.5 or 9.5

arent your rims 20x7.5 though?

On my 18's (lexani) i had bags and 18x8.5 and they didnt fit in the rear and rubbed like crazy in the front.

mine is 20x7.5. But you had the chassis tech setup which use the OEM struts. The easystreet is not OEM and smaller strut setup. There is a A.E)d blue ga that has 20x8.5" wheels. He is still low.. But like 1.5" higher than where my 20x7.5 wheels sits. Also he was running 225/35/20 and I am running 225/30/20 which is a thinner side wall as well.

Hmmm.. tuff decision. I think if im spending this much money (again) to bag my alero, I want it to be as low as possible.

thats funny those are the exact rims my brother have, ok i will tell you this, they will not fit at all i already tryed them on my grand am and no luck, save your money and get something else, plus i think these are only for rear wheel drive. Here are his rims.. link below

They are actually for front wheel drive cars. But yea, I just cant see myself buying them and not being able to lay out. I mean thats the whole point of buyin air ride..
