since this is the all purpose help thread for anything pertaining to the alero..

what say you-

think this is a good value? and yes, all FOUR of my regulators are shot.

280 for the entire set.. when I have to pay 408 (four hundred eight) to get them from advanceautoparts.com

Yes. I paid 110 for my first one from a local parts store and 45 for my second regulator off ebay and its the same quality. The ebay seller seems to have good feedback I would roll with it. Either go with this guy or buy 4 seperate ones on ebay and you may get a lower figure.

yep.. wedging them in the up position it starting to suck.. and since warmer weather is on its way, its time to get em fixed. I think its a combination of fried motors / broken regulators / fried switch.

which leads me to my next question.. where can i get the master switch on the driver door for a reasonable price.. all the ones on Ebay are extremely worn and look like they've been through hell. wouldn't mind having a somewhat newer one. the one that controls all the windows.

installing a set of underglow neons is what caused all this.. it also fried my door locks, and the rear window defroster.

My E Bay regulator lasted since about the fourth of july to a week ago. $45 for one, cant see why these are $280...

The ones pictured for front look good, but are those the exact ones you get?

TBH I would goto a yard and pull OEMs out of a junker...

Failing that I would get them from a local store. These are high failure items and you really should have the warranty!!!!

theres a front set of em for 70 - 75 bucks.. one year warranty.

regulators aside, anyone know where I can get a master switch for the driver door for a decent price?

A warranty where you have to pay to ship the old and the new isnt worth it...
