Alright, i have the 2.4L and want to purchase a new muffler. I am getting the dynomax super turbo muffler with single inlet and outlet. What i need to know is the stock piping size so i know what size inlet to buy for the muffler. What i have been getting is the piping is 2 1/4", but it that the i/d or o/d? I'd like to order this muffler as sooon as i can but i'm stuck on this. It's 40 degrees out or i'd probably crawl around measuring. And if anyone with the 2.4 has gotten a muffler, what size inlets did you get? Thanks!

Put your money toward buying a trunk from the salvage yard... one without holes.

It doesn't matter, it gets welded on. If the size of the stock piping is 2" and you have a 2.25" item, an adapter will be made and welded on, it's not difficult.

Don't tell me you planned on clamping it on yourself and doing some half-ass ricer muffler-hanging-down version. You get it professionally welded.

Okay, we have a family friend that owns a muscle car restoration and body shop. He does exhausts for many customers and is telling me that if i bring him to corect parts he will put it on for me for free. Not trying to be a ricer. I like car audio and have wanted my own car to play with for a few years now. I'll probably grow out of the spoiler but my girlfriend bought it for me for my birthday because she heard me say i wanted it a while ago. I'm looking into the dynomax super turbo muffler, not a fart-cannon. I want it to sound nice, especially on a limited high-school budget. I'm gonna have to abuse the search button more from now on. Thanks for your help though. :thumb:

Oh yeah, I just realized, in one of the posts that came up when searching for stock exhaust pipe size, I mentioned that I measured mine when it was cut off for my full exhaust to be done. It is 2".

You will grow out of the wing and deeply regret ever having it. I can guarantee everyone on the road is laughing at you when they see your car roll by. The aluminum wing is a big no-no in car modification.

Even when they serve a purpose they still get a bad rap.

Having that wing on your car ties you in with these shitpiles:

That tomei cusco car has some serious engineering involved from head to toe on it. To be quite honest, the engineering that went into it is scary....

That car is a monster! I read about it in a mag, it ran a time attack with that Tarzan fellow ( hes a drifter dude, for thoes who dont know) and just tore every one apart.

Tarzan doesn't drift in competition, but he is actually quite the time attack driver. He smoked everyone with the Cusco STI at Buttonwillow recently and ran a 1:44.372, but he didn't quite catch the record set by the HKS Evo of 1:43.523

He's driven a bunch of cars including the Cyber Evo and the Crawford STI
