Would you guys recommend installing these? If so, how difficult might it be?

Any contraindications with the injectors? I know once I get a PCM it will have to be reconfigured. But to be honest, I do not know much about the PCM and I am hoping someone could explain it thoroughly to me.

I can't speak about the torque link, but you don't need the larger injectors unless you are constantly running lean.
You'll need a scan gauge to verify this, but generally you won't be maxing out the stock injectors unless you are boosted or have a cam and ported heads.

Are there any suspension upgrades that also allow a reduction in weight?

That torque link is not a strut tower brace......it ties the motor to the core support and has the similar effect of a solid transmission mount.
And this is not a universal piece - it was specifically developed for the N-body.

Sure.....get coilovers with stiff springs which will allow you to eliminate the anti-roll bars.....aluminum front lower control arms save a few pounds....
Most anything else will need to be custom-fabricated.

Thanks, (sorry for off-topic). Given that I want to use the 15 x 6 wheels and 215 60 R15 tires I have, would you recommend using them? I'm old, so I like the soft ride, but I still need a little better cornering.
if you want a soft ride coilovers is NOT an option no matter which way you look at it

It's not that I'm trying to get a softer ride, it just happens to be so with what I now have, and I don't mind it. What I want to know is, would getting the coilovers cause any problems with the small wheel/tire combo. I am mainly looking to save a little weight. Better cornering would be a plus, of course......

Seems like with mods you have to know a lot of specifics...is there a site with all the exact specs on the 3400 2004 sedan. I don't know what the hell an N-body is...and buying incompatible parts is a big no-no to me.

so no-go on injector upgrades unless I am...boosted...or cam...or ported heads...which I have no clue what those are. I am a noob, I need this in dum-dum terms with full explanations of use and location...
But the torque bar? good idea? Stabilization seems like a bonus.

Xander I think you really need to take some time and research everything before you start throwing money around. Here is a great FAQ thread from grandamgt.com to get you started. http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71671
FYI an N body is Gm's code letter for the platform, Alero's Grand am's Malibu's and Cutlasses are N body cars.

All of the Grand Am stuff is interchangeable with the Alero? Same engine, same body. Should work in theory.

Correct. The body panels are different as with most of the interior stuff but all the mechanical parts, powertrain, suspension, etc. is the same.

couldnt you put the panels on the car through? and like, switch dasboards out and stuff?

Not sure. You would need to do the whole front end, hood bumper fenders header panel together. For the dash you would need to switch door panels at minimum and probably the center console as well.
