<rant>

So I just ordered the mpracing PCM, and I had to get that SERV# off of my PCM. Lucky for me, when best buy installed my alarm system, they decided to put the big black viper box right there, and wrap the wires (as if there weren't enough wires right there) so that it's very difficult to slide the PCM out too far. It's frustrating. Luckily I could get it out far enough to read the number off of it so I could order the PCM, but getting it all the way out and putting the new one in is gonna be a HUGE PITA. Not to mention I've gotta grow the balls to install my new thermostat (yes I've seen the gagt walkthrough) and wait for my CAI to come in. Thank you best buy, thank you.

Just had to vent a little before going out and putting the thing back together... carry on...

Best Buy installed this kids system around here, the guys who did it copied the keys, and stole his car. What a fine establishment.

haha wow, good to know. I got everything back in, but the back side of the PCM (the side closest to the firewall) just kinda hangs there, like it's not all the way up in the holder. I tried with that plastic lever for awhile but it did nothing. I'm not too worried about it though, car starts fine (obviously) and it will be replaced here in the next couple weeks anyways. If my car turns off while driving from my parents' house back to my apartment then I know what's wrong...

Thats why you never give stereo shops your real address... They ask for it but what are they gonna do? Send a free speaker coupon...I think not
