You blew a fuse? Did you check them?
I did have to change my blower motor this summer, but it was working occasionaly, and one day it just never turned on again. I dont remember the price.

ok so i checked the hvac blower fuse and it was blown so i put the sunroof fuse in its place and the blower turbed on but it makes loud clanging shuttering noises as though someone is sticking something in a moving ceiling fan blade......

i looked in the manual and it doesnt look hard... you take the panel under the glove box off and its kinda under there with only three or 4 bolts on it

the blower motor froze, its extemely common to happen in the winter on any vehicle, no water leak needed. if u have a heated shop u can leave it in OVERNIGHT do that. if not leave ur vehicle running for a couple few hours it should come out of it. i guess if that doesn't work it could b the motor, but thats wierd that it happened overnight while it wasn't even on.

if he had it running the night before, the heat attracted condensation which then froze. overnight is ample time for this to happen. heated garage or running the engine for a while before running the blower are ideas I agree with, even though it is not energy conservative.
