you can put it on a 12v source or if you really want it on the ignition switch, just get the radio out without disconnecting it(the radio is fucked after disconnection) and youll see the wires there, put the switch ON and take a test light youll find it easy. After just ground it to a bolt that ground your battery! To fuse it you can put a in line fuse on the wire but the best is to connect it to the fuse box!

you *could* stick the wire into the radio fuse and plug the fuse back in

if you want to be unsafe

Ok haha I got that part done, but now when it is in the on position without actually running the gauge lights are on but the second the car starts the gauge readings shut off, Do I need to like change where I tapped into the wire or something (I did it right after the sensor plastic thingy) sooo what could be the issue?

there are fuse adders? I don't know the exact name, but u can just pull a fuse out of the fuse box and plug it in.then put the fuse back in, what it dose is add a powerline and still give the use of the fuse. just use a test light to find a fuse that works with the key.

use a fuse tab into the fuse panel on a switched source. thats the proper way to do it. kinda the same mistake my friend made when he went to put a trailer light plug on his truck, used all scotch locks for the wires lol. i had to go in to strip and solder all the wires.

the cheap a/f gauges are just a light show, the readings arent going to be accurate or mean anything

its a 90$ gague.. Colbalt series.. its a really nice gauge and yea they are pretty accurate because it was on my friends WRX before it was on mine but he got a wideband and had both of them in at the same time for like a week just for kicks and they were pretty similar.

i dont get it,when the engines runing, the gauge shut off?!?

It was because I was hooking the Light wire and the Power wire up together for some reason. The light would work but it wouldn't give any readings.. I got it all fixed now. but yea... thanks for the help guys :-)
