Switch'n The Cd Player....

Well like it says i am switching my cd player out to put a dual in. Its nice but its better then my other one so I need more power. Should I just splice a different wire and run it from a fuse with enough power?? --any ideas--

because its not even turning on, I got it, i just ran another wire from the fuse(2A) to the power wire of the cd player and everything is good now. All i need is another shelve casing because its bigger then the last one and it doesnt fit. does anyone know where to get a cheap one (I dont want to spend a fortune b.c i still have to get my windows tinted and my cai)
