Both on, and that's it
My scanner won't read SVS codes
Altnator crapped out the other day I replaced that and this happened about 2 miles of driving. No anti-lock or brake light are on.
I know the power streering fluid is low and I read on Wiki that could trip a SVS but IDK
Drivng home from work yesterday morning and the Security light came on, then the battery, then SVS and one after another they all came on then the dash died and the odometer stopped. Car ran and drove fine.
Called the mech and he said the alt was bad, replaced it and now I'm here.

well, top the fluid off first and see what happens. then, i'd say take it and have it scanned if the lights won't go out. maybe ur computer needs to be reset (i.e. it got messed up from the alt going out on it)

If it was the hubs then the ABS light would be on too..

Cliff did they use a different type of system on the Alero? When both of my hubs went bad there was no ABS warning.

If you have a code set for a wheel speed sensor, both the ABS and traction control become inoperative. That's the case in the Alero and the Aurora. It is still possible for the hub to go bad without causing a wheel speed sensor problem, I just had this happen to mine.

I drove to work after this and home, no lights
Drove to the shop today to get it scanned, no light
Drove home from the shop, no lights
Mech said it was probably a reset thing and not to worry about it.
BTW the car accles so much better now, I guess that happens when your volts go from 11 to 14.2 when stopped at a light :D
