i have a 03 olds alero. motor is in good shape so is the body ... the only problem is the transmission... iv been reading about the 4t60e transmission and its a stronger transmission then the 4t45e but the only problem is will it fit.. just like the factory transmisson???? thanks

you need to do "mods" for anything custom... lol
search around I think he listed what he did on here somewhere

Custom mounts wiring and axles minimum plus a custom tune.

What's wrong with your transmission that makes you think you need a 4T60/4T65?
or
What mods do you have done that makes you think your transmission isn't strong enough?
The 4T65 transmission doesn't just fit. You have to make it fit with a lot of custom work.

my transmission is trash slips and bangs into gear and. the converter is bad also.... so i was going to replace it with a jasper transmission.... i was thinking i should replace with a stronger one, planning ahead for the future...

What plans do you have for the future? You may be just fine with a newer 4T45.
Like I said, it's a lot of work to get a transmission in a car that it wasn't designed for. Just ask Blackjack.
