I saw a thread once that said how to get my theftlock code from gm over the phone but I can't seem to find it. Could anyone shine some light on it for me? Thanks.

Look in your manual, should be either what ever you set it too or what it defaults to at the factory....
Jus read your manual

Tried both, what was posted in the faq section and got no where, and also tried looking in the manual and the only thing it says in there about theftlock is what it is and how it works...any other ideas? I mean I got the subs in there now and what I did was disconnected the rear speakers and put those into the subs and it woks, but of course I dont have any back speakers. It sounds great tho. I know it's not like some of the systems out there, but it thumps plenty for me. I have a punch 1200 watt Rockford Fosgate amp and 2 Dual 375 watt subs. I honeslty thought it would sounds like crap, but it bangs pretty damn hard. :)

Can anyone post a sample Theftlock code? I think I might already have it in my car paperwork, but if I have it, it's not labeled properly. I have a small piece of paper stapled to the window sticker that I got from the original owner. this small piece of paper has some sort of code on it, but whatever the code is I don't know. I was thinking that it might be a key code, but now that I think about it, it could be a TheftLock code just the same.

its just 4 numbers, usually beginning with a 0, at least mine is.

The thing I mentioned having some sort of code on it is a small piece of paper about 2" x 3/4" with a barcode and a 4 digit code LK80. Does this small barcoded piece of paper make any sense to anyone? I'm inclined to think that a key code would be longer.

Nah, the key codes are not that long. Figure even with 4 digits like that there's a possibility of 67,600 key codes if not more. The key code tag has a hole to fit on a key ring too.. I still have mine.
