what the base horse power for an alero. Also what the highest u guy have saw or heard umm. and tips in help me increas means thanks

assuming you have the 3.4 than the base is 170 at the crank. And i think Springs fastest had about 300 at the crank.(i think, im sure people will correct me if im wrong)
tips: CAI, TB, 62mm TB, Headers, Exhaust, ported/polished intake mani's, Turbo or SC, and alot more.........

yeah running from what was said
best bet to start if you're looking for some more horses on the engine from what I've seen is to start out with headers, an intake, and cat back exhaust
guys over at grandamgt.com (same engine) have pulled 160-167 whp after dyno
torque from 180-184 wheel ft/lbs
what's the math on that, 215-220 crank hp
but as they say all cars react differently to add ons
slp catback, cai (made, or bought can go 70-180), and TOG headers will run you a bit
If i remember roughly....
SLP - $400
TOG - $700-800
never any discount hp, say a 120 cai with the rest = $28/midget pony
