after i get my safety check, i think i'm gonna clear my corners.

how do i take out the headlights? does the whole grey housing come off? i see that it's connected by two hoses; are there any screws i need to take off?

there are two tabs on each side that you pull up on on top of the headlights, basically in the black plastic headers. pull those up, wiggle the headlights a little, then pull them out...

Also, There is a plug on the housing. This is on the edge behind the high beam. the T/S and side marker bulbs, twist and pull out ;)

After clearing, use amber colored bulbs in the side markers

as long as you use amber bulbs it's legal in every state I believe... It's when you change the color of the light is when it becomes questionable.

"Its a great day at Jiffy Lube! How may I help you?"

"Uh yeah, I got a some red bumps on my crotch and so does my girl."

"Its probably herpes, sir. I recommend Castrol 10W-30"

not massachusetts unfortunatly. what i was told when i went to get my car inspected was that every vehicle produced in this country is made with a reflective orange part somewhere in the front end of the car, and there needs to be one in order to pass inspection. same thing with a red reflective piece in the rear of the car. so i bought some cheap round little reflectors at wal*mart and taped them to the car. the guy inspecting it said the car was fine except for the reflectors which were "kinda pushing it, but will work". got my inspection, and ripped the damn ugly things right off.

You were told bullshit about the blinkers. I've had my shit inspected three times at three different places, no one said a peep. Also, there's nothing about it in the MGL.

i dunno then. the first place i went to just looked at the car and said it wudnt pass cuz of the headlights. so i took it to this place i heard of from a few friends thats supposed to be very lenient. they passed my bro's car with headers and straight back exhaust, and a friends mustang that was loud as fuck. the first time i went the woman said she wasnt even gonna take it into the bay cuz she wud have to fail it and not let me drive away til it got fixed. so i left, did the above mentioned modification, and brought it back. they were still weary of passing it at that point as well. stupid how this shit changes from state to state and even area to area. dont gotta worry about it till next year tho, so i dont care.
