i found a 98 oldsmobile alero v6 transmission and i need to replace my 03 transmission. is thare any difference in the transmissions?

yeah, the 98 one doesn't exist

99 and 03 4T45E transmissions are all equal, AFAIK

i found a tranny with 60,000 miles on it for $400 bucks and found a nother with 30,000mi for $600 do you guys think that thares a reason why it is so cheep?

Maybe because you can buy an entire wrecked car for $50 and remove the parts yourself, but then you'd have to do all the labor.

my spare engine was $125 and it had 30,000 miles
prices vary, depends on who wants it and who's sellin it

i think ima go for the $400 tranny with a lil more miles goina just swap them out and take my orignal tranny and send it out and rebuild it for racing

How much do you think I could get a 3400 and trans for. I got 133.5k miles and id like to keep the alero as long as I can :)
