The 3400 headers they make for the W body are almost $600 iirc. That is for uncoated too. I forsee a similar price, which would make S&S a better deal for a better product. I have heard bad stories about pacesetter headers on 4 cyls.

^^ I notice that S&S has headers for 514 dollars. these are uncoated.. is there any way to coat these things yourself, or is it best to have the pros do it?

Any powdercoat shop would be able to ceramic coat them or you could paint and heat wrap them for about $30. I don't have headers so I cannot speak on the effectivness of this method.

they are coated on the inside too iirc which you probably wouldnt want to do yourself and ruin the flow of the header.
