Where there's a will theres a way Cherry, but it'd be some ridiculous fab work to make it fit and setup right.

yea you would def have to be very experienced in making stuff outta metal haha

hahahah look at how a super charger works, and ponder that. wash rinse repeat. and then avoid asking that question :)

HEAVILY modifying one so both could run off the same pulley, each one goes to two cylinders
impractical but possible...anything is with the right amount of money

I think you could run two, but you would have to be doing it on a V6 or V8, and you would have to completely re-design the intake manifold. I think it would look pretty wicked actually.

possible for 2? yes. plausible? no.
but really if you can get two for around a grand, that would be an awesome deal for 2 people. wish i had some oney to blow right now.

btw, for the fun of it, twin superchargers.

OK...sure you could do it, but by the time you spend the money to get 2 superchargers to fit on a 2.4 and then finding out you'll need a bigger engine bay to actually fit the engine into, you could've spent the same amount of money on a turbo setup and engine build and be pushing 500whp by now :p

I just bid on these, I'll go up to around 1300 on my own. If I win and someone wants to purchase the other one, let me know. Otherwise, I'm just going to save it for the future, that way I can send it out to be ported and polished without having to take the other one off my car.

Also, to everyone asking questions about how you buy the parts.....I called my local GM dealer and they claim that there is no way to purchase the parts individually. You have to order the entire thing together. They don't have a "install kit" either.

The reason I know this is because a guy is selling only the supercharger on J-body for around 800. I called to ask if they have a kit that includes everything but the supercharger, or could I just buy every additionaly piece individually and the answer was of course, no, as stated above.

If anyone has any intel contrary to this, please post that info up with a good contact number. It would help all of us out.

I know the manual for the Ecotec supercharger has a breakdown of all the parts with part numbers, however they're all parts used on other cars (like the cobalt). I'd check the manual for the 2.4 one and see.

The one the guy is selling does come with a manual, so that is the route I plan on going. I figure there has to be at least one shop out there that sells the pieces individually. It's just going to take a lot of shoping around to find it.

That'll be a nice buy if the bids aren't too high. Hopefully you can get a hold of the parts you need.

^ that'd be a good way to make profit, of course someone that actually wanted to use the superchargers would be pissed off. but bleh.

Not me, that's what I get for not keeping up on it. I thought it was a sure thing when there was less than ten hours to go and it was still only at 800. That pisses me off more than a little bit, my fault though.

Hopefully whoever got it can actually find the replacement parts. I was calling around and having no luck. I was actually getting a little worried that I wouldn't be able to find the parts and I'd just have two superchargers sitting around in my garage. Maybe it's a good thing. I'll just pay retail I guess.
