so i looked up to how to on installing the kit. I have a 99 alero gls 3.4 v6 and i'm not certain if have a 40e or a 45e transmission? also they only show pics of the plug you have to tap into for an 2.2l. where is the sensor that you tap into, on a 3.4l v6?

4T45E, should be a similar location and color of wiring, so when you find it, take a picture for us so I can update the How-To. :)

so i believe this is the sensor i should be looking at, one is a pic of it at a distance as you would find it and the other i exposed the wires. When are you wiring it, is the wiring exactly the same as the 40e?

i have the PFYC transmission tourque converter, that plugs in right there for the 3.4, I am not sure if it is similar but the tourque converter did work, but unless ur using it for towing it probably isnt worth it.

yes it make a differance. I have an adjustable inerceptor shift improver for sale. it plugs in to that connector. its a good mod I liked it.

why did you take the interceptor off and put the b & m shift plus on?

Interceptor is adjustable, but has no off switch. B &M isn't Adjustable, but you can turn it off.

Well, Neither are good for daily use, Since it's hard on the car.
I think you get better performance out of the interceptor, but the B&M is really close and it's more conveinient, Since it can be turned off.
Mind you, I'm not 100% sure, Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, that's for sure :p
