i just got my new intake via fedex today...and i opened up to make sure i have everything and i found this little piece that doesnt fit anywhere...heres a pic

from that angle looks like some kind of plug to me...=S

looks like it could be a coupler or something to attach what i believe is a vacuum line to another piece of tube (which probly came with the kit as well) to make it long enough to attach to the new intake. will get a pic up of mine when i get out of work if it helps...

hahaha...i shoulda read the fine print :p

but okay...i thought it was a thing for a hose but it doesnt fit, im going to try and put the intake on in about 20 min or so...ill keep you guys updated

its completely hollow...you can see straight through it

Yeah I agree with the rest of the guys. Its gotta be tapered that way for fitment or pressure on a vacuum line

thats what it was...its like an adapter to fit the stock vacuum hose with the one they give you

glad you figured out what it was. mine was the same diameter for the entire length of the thing. same function tho im sure.
