pretty much no difference between a W body and a N body even with the bigger engine the W weighs way more. Now the Supercharged is way different. It should totally spank you of the line and the whole way down.

so if its not supercharged and its stock mine is full tuneup performance plugs wires 180 tstat cold air kandn seafoamed engine pcv valve low mileage and a aftermarket muffler which i know none of those really do much should i try to race they wanna race for cash i know for a fact their car is stock i just thought its a waste of time cuz the engine is bigger and car seems more powerful when opened up.

My brother has a 05 GTP, it is not really that impressive. I am much faster than him. Then again I have done quite a bit of work. It still does not feel much different than a stock alero, the thing is a boat anchor.

i didnt race a gtp it was a grand prix and we raced 3 times on parkway from dead stop, 20 roll and 50 roll each time i was 2 cars ahead and destroyed off the line. why would i lie i was surprised i thought a new car with half the miles and 30 more horse would have defeated me. lol took that long because we live in different areas. i shoulda put money on it :/ i should probably change my oil huh? and i thought our goveners kick in at 110? i was at 115 and it woulda kept going?

unless you have hp tuners and changed your governor you didnt it tops out at 108 even going down hill not that ive tryed :ninja:

Well in drive going down hill not sure the slope degree with stock tune it still tops out at 108 :lol:

^agreed, there is not way a stock programed alero can hit 120 b/c its limited at 108. Custom programed, yes very posible even with no performance mods.

off subject do you have to change fuel filter when you change fuel pump? or is it a good idea i was told when you have a pump go bad you should really change filter any technical reason for it.
