Kinda got a little issue, my friend forgot exactly where the fuseable link that is in the bundle of wires with the starter wires bolted back up to. Anyone that can help and let me know where it is suppost to be bolted up to i appreciate it. ( i thought it was suppost to bolt up with the starter but he told me he didnt think so!)

I do believe that the Alero uses the MAXI fuses instead of fusible links.

It goes underneath the positive wire on the stater.
This fusible link on the start goes to the alternator positive wire for the charging system. If not connected, then your battery will go dead as soon as its out of juice.

its like a box with a place to put a bolt through it at the end of it, i'll take a pic of it to get a better understanding), no the blue wire is hooked up already

ahh ok.. is the box black? that the ground box. Don't attach that to the starter. It just grounds on the subframe rail next to the starter.

thats a ground block. Just bolt it to any engine bolt or frame bolt. Why is the ground on ur starter? Its not suppose to be there. That ground block w/ the ground wire is suppose to be on the side of the block where the starter is. I didn't have remove it when i changed out my starter eariler this year. It was just 2 bolts and the positive wire on the starter solenoid end.
Wierd.

well when i pulled my engine i wasn't the one who unhooked the starter etc so i didnt know where everything went so we just grounded it out to the engine on the starter bracket bolt

It's proper name is a splice pack. It connects multiple wires to ground through the tab. It should be bolted down to the engine or body.
