Ok, here's the deal. My front driver tan leather seat is beat to all hell. It looks nasty, and it is now ripping down the middle. No matter how many times I tried to clean them with expensive leather cleaner, it never really got them looking right.

I want to replace my front seats. I am not sure what route to go. I don't know any local shops that do upholstry in NJ, but I'm sure I can find them. can anybody recomend a place that sells new leather materials?

I have also tried junk yards, but I can't find any that are in good shape. The're either beat to crap or cloth.

Also, how difficult is it to replace the seat material yourself? Anybody know where to order it?

If the leather covers are anything like the cloth ones, you can get them off fairly easily. I spilled something (I think Iced Tea) on my drivers seat once and took the covers off and put them in the washing machine.

There is a place in Langhorne, PA that's pretty good.

Don't know the name off the top of my head but I can find out and PM you if you want.

Let me know (it's 10 mintues from my house)

Sure Ken, that is like 45 minutes away from me or so.

Any idea what to expect price wise to have them professionally re-covered?

I know Marc had Katzkins and they were like $600 for the whole car. But they replaced the cloth seats. I'm not sure if there are different cover patterns for the cloth and leather seats.
