Got the call today from the track. I qualified for the program again this year. Turns out I'm in a tie for 8th in points - better than I thought I was, really - and 1 guy ahead of me can't make it so I'm guaranteed in (thay take the top 8 in each class for the show). Will check with the g/f tonight to see if we have any conflicting plans this Saturday. If not, I'll be there for the 5pm start (time trials).

KEN - let me know if you are free Saturday because if I race I'm going to receive a Free Guest Pass for the pits. It's supposed to be for 1 crew member but I'm a crew of 1. :rolleyes2: Let me know and I can leave it at the credentials booth for you.

Yeah but mentally doesn't count, I tried :p

Mitch, I'm not going to be able to make it for that. I'm going to a Beef and Beer to help out a coworker who is fighting cancer for the 3rd time. If it wasn't for that, I'd be up in a heartbeat.

I doanted a "car care pack" that I personally made up for one of the raffle prizes and I'm saying it's from the Alero Chapter of OCA. Being Seceraty and all I think I have to be there...

^alright. Thought I'd check before giving the ticket to somebody else. I'll see if my cousin wants to go or if Liz's son wants to take his g/f.

Yeah I'd love to go, but I think I have to do this.

Maybe if I could get traction, I'd be there racing too ;)

You all missed a pretty decent night. I lost in the Finals, but since it wasn't for Points it was alright. Only had to run 3 rounds, but with only the Top 8 in each class competing, there were no slouches in any class.

1st Round - raced the reigning Division 1 Street ET Champion (Riccardi). Beat him with a .007 green and tight left-foot braking at the finish line.

2nd Round - raced the current Points leader (Render). Took him out again with some tight foot-braking.

3rd Round - raced the 1 driver who's closest to me in skill, experience, and style (Hedenburg). Gave it to him with a -0.016 red light. Luckily we agreed beforehand to combine and split prize money equally - $75 apiece. That'll pay for Sunday's racing.

The weather absolutely sucked = 96 degrees and nasty. Everyone's cars really dogged. Sunday will be worse, if only for the fact that we'll be out there all day this time, as opposed to the 5pm start at NoT.
