OMG...........Billy go spend the $20 and get a 2-way. PM some of us for our numbers so you will have contacts in case something happens or you get lost. Do you have the factory spare in your car? If not and you bring your stock then at the show put it on the ground and slide it up and underneath the rearend of your car so nobody sees it and it is out of they way and then after the show slide it out from underneath your car and then put it back in your car so you don't lose it.

Does this help you or do you need more details

I saw blue ones at Walmart today

OK all joking aside, I paid $24 for a pair and it included the batties and charger and belt clips. However I tried them out and the charging base didn't work, one of the tabs wasn't on the spring and would only charge if you pushed down on it.

With that said, buy a set, test them, and you'll have fun.

PS check you're inbox

Let's not forget if anybody is bringing donations for prizes, bring them too. If anybody wants to buy a yard tent, we could always use another one. I have one, but Turkey isn't comming this year and he had the other one. These can be some coin, but if you are going to use it only at ASS shows, it will last you a few years.

I'm going to bring an extra chair. BRING CHAIRS. Linda will be 5 months preggo and I don't want her standing around.

If anybody can bring a cooler or two. I know these things are huge, but the more room we have for cold drinks, the better. Walmart is just past 96 which is 1/2 mile from the hotel. They have those throw away ones for $1.

The anti-bug candles work great, but we need more of them. I have 2 huge ones. They're cheap, buy'em. Pick up bug spray too.

I'm bringing a game that I made.

It's an actual game and becoming popular. It's called "washers" or "Texas Horseshoes"

The boxes I made are a little rough, but very sturdy. Gonna need that with 2.5" washers getting thrown at them.

I am gonna bring a 10x10 pop up if I can find a way to get it into my car comfortably for the trip, possibly in the front seat since it is too tall to fit in the trunk. Will not have the supply of sunblock due to no supply in our company store but plan on things like lotion and germ-x for all.

Well for one it is in the ASS section not off topic. If we were to let everyone talk about different things in every thread who the hell would want to read the crap. People like to start off talking about brakes then go to boobs, to computers, to politics in the same thread........which is BS.

Yes Chris it is my thread and I do have control and if i feel something is off topic in a section that is not off topic, I have the right to clean the thread.

that is good for SUV.........try top the 16mpg for the durango....LOL. Actually the best MPG for ASS was the hyundia @ 38mpg that year.

So everyone make sure you bring enough gas money and Marc maybe bring a extra gas container.

[ion] C2
06-05-2008, 07:08 PM
do 60MPH on the highway if you can, supposedly it's drastically higher than 70-75. like a guy with a Z28 got 26MPG at 75 then 38MPG at 60 on the highway

I was looking at renting a flat bed tow truck next year. I'll need on with a King Cab or Crew Cab. Not finding too many places that rent them. I figured this would be the cheapest way to go, if I tow.

I've changed my driving habits drasticly. The last 2 tanks were 21.4 and 21.6 combined city and highway. My highest before that was 20.9.

Keeping all tires with about 33 to 35 PSI, windows up, a/c on, all accel I'm keeping below 3000, but I've been keeping it all at 2500 or lower, and as soon as I get to my location, I park the car quick and turn off the motor, put the car on "acc" then turn off everything ;)
