signal light problem

you know the sound your signal light makes when you turn it on! that sound is happening randomly all the time, about every 30 seconds it will just start ticking real fast 30 to 50 times then stop for a bit. no lights come on or any thing, just the sound. when i use them every thing works fine. the sound comes from behind the hazard switch but i don't want to take anything apart till i know what I'm looking for. any ideas?

connection problem or do you think i need to swap it out?thanks

I just swapped mine out. Cost $25 and took 10 minutes. Everything is back to normal now
