well I finally convinced my girlfriend to get an intake on her alero...the car sounds good when she revs it.

I like my red one :) where did you get that air intake? Is it cold or warm air? not that I even know the difference lol.

Looks like a WAI.
CAI goes down by the wheel to suck the colder air. but it's not too great for street use. expecially in winter.

looks like the ebay intake. any problems with the install. i did one on my cavalier and it wouldnt fit over the throttle body. had to go to advance a get the right size coupler

fit fine...you still got that elbow coupler?...cause I need an elbow couple....advance has them?

AAP doesn't carry shit. I went for a 90 degree coupler and they had no idea what I was talking about. They don't stock anything for intakes besides like $200 Honda ones.
AutoZone carries the couplers.

Could someone please take the time to post what that intake is called, how much it cost, and where I can find one, and please don't tell me to go to ebay and look up cavalier intakes cause a shit load comes up. I've been wanting one for like a yr now. Oh and a price would be nice and a how to on the sensor part would be cool as well.

What he has is a Warm Air Intake. The Cold Air brother to that would have the filter down in the fenderwell.... any of the 2.4L ebay specials should work. They look like they have the tubing bent at the right angles...

thats probably right. i gave $28 shipped for my cavalier 2.2l but i had to get a different coupler because it didnt fit the throttle body right but the rest was okay

I also got my WAI from Cosmo along with the cosmo short shifter and weighted knob.
...also not on your list :)
