hi i have used alot of prodcsts to paint my uppermanafold but nothing works . i looks good for a 2 weeks but later the paint starts to crack and little by little it craks more and more...
What type of paint do u guys recommend
Color light blue

Anything that is High heat should work. Make sure the metal is up to the job though.

make sure its clean before you paint, maybe a primer would help, but im not a paint guy.

ok, take a wire brush and brush the hell otu of it, another good way is to egt a high speed drill and a wire wheels to go with it, once its nice enought blow it off with compressed air or anything then spray it down with brake cleaner. After that mask offf the whole area around it and lay down some etching primer, its the green stuff at advance. Etching primer is made for aluminum and it slightly eats itno the aluminum, not enough to harm it so dont worry. Then oncve its dry use any color of high temp engine paint with ceramic and it should hold up fine. Thats how i do all of my valve covers and it hasnt failed yet.

HEy guys i went today to autozone and stratuss and they didnt have etching primer where can i get it?

ADvance auto parts has it, yours looks good now but if you cant find it hit up advance out or Orilieys. and if push comes to shove hit up ebay.

hey guys i just went to Advance auto parts and the self etching primer the brand is dupli color and are u guys sure that this is primer is good for the manifold?
