where does the engine come from?

hey guys i have a problem with one of my headerds. it cracked and i need a new one. the local junkyard doenst have any aleros with 3.4l in them. i heard those engines come out of GMs mini vans. im woundering what model the engine comes from. maybe i can find the engine at the junkyard. any idea?

They are exhaust manifolds. Headers involve primaries and collectors:) Which one is is cracked? If you can find one from a grand am or malibu, it would probably be a direct replacement. I am not sure if the minivan manifolds will work for you, especially the rear one since the downpipe is most likely in a different location.

as far as i know there is no malibus or aleros at the junkyard. they have one pontiac but its a 2.4L i think. the cracked exaust manifold is in the front. ill check out the minivans. if that doesnt work im not too worried . im good friends with the owner and he said i can return anything goes wrong. thanks for the help guys

As far as i know, the front manifold can come off any 3100/3400. The design never changed. I think my only spare is a rear manifold.

Impala also came with the 3400 as a baseline model.
