underdrive pullies aren't worth it in general. the gains aren't worth the price.

Well basically, an underdrive pulley is just lighter and a bit smaller than the stock one. The weight loss remove some of the rotative mass from the belt accessories, which increase throttle response. Also, the fact that it is smaller makes the rest of the accessories turn slower, taking a bit less power there.

I'd say that as long as the pulley is straight and lighter than the stock one, you have an underdrive pulley, no matter the price.

There's a reason the stock pulleys are called harmonic balancers. The aftermarket replacement is not.

Bad choice, there are other modifications that are more worthwhile.

/\ thx for the hint. I also heard that a pulley from a 2.3L was a bit better than the 2.4 and that it fits?

That would mean the SC turns faster, right?

ok, its funny because before I was thinking of acquiring an underdrive pulley. After I thought that maybe a supercharger was a good idea for the hoe. I just didnt think back about the underdrive pulley, having ot with supercharger would result in less boost lol. Thx Ion.
