Well... I recently got my first paycheck (I'm 17) and its about $140 because it was only for the first week I worked... but here is the thing, I want to get the Cold Air Intake off alerospeed.com but I just wanted to hear all your opinions on the topic. I did a search on the site and I saw some people saying they got ripped off, but then I saw others saying they loved it. I just wanted some input.. Thanks..

I did look on ebay and I couldnt find anything spicific for the Alero... I'm sure anything for the 3400 SFI (Malibu and GrandAms I think) would work but I just wasnt sure if the piping would work with a different car model..

Right. So find a Grand Am one. It's just a straight pipe with a filter. You can make one yourself, even.
This one looks pretty good:

:-) Thnx bro I may just order this when I get home, I'm in study hall right now at school but I will check more into it when I get home. Now would lowering springs and stuff like that for the grand am also work, or just engine parts... Cause Other than the body I think the trannys, engine, etc are the same right?

if you are going to buy an ebay cai make sure you buy one that replaces the accordian piece between the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body. That is where a lot of turbulence comes from. All grand am parts will work on your car with the exception of body panels and headlights. Etc.

Hard to disgrace someone when both cars are basically the same.

Yea I am thinking about it, I also was thinking about getting just the AAS front bumper.. I dont really think the back or side skirts are necessary... either that or a underglow kit, the lowering springs are on the way, and I have my calipers painted corvette red. I am going for Apperance before performance.. I think the stock subs are already pretty fricking good..

LOL no. Do it then realize how freaking retarded it looks to have the front end hanging low and the rest way up high because you cheaped out and went the ricer route.

If I had the money I would do the rest.. but I just hate the stock Alero Front bumper.. it looks gaylord... I love the rest of the body.. but the front bumper just has to go... or I could put racing grill wire stuff in it but I have seen those and they still don't look to good...

Easy, just buy GA hood, both headlight, both fenders, header panel, bumper and maybe the bumper reinforcement and just swap everything from the Alero.

I did the same with mine and my accord intake came with 3" piping, a little harder to fit but i managed.
