calibrating guages

i recently changed my gauges to white with the stick ons...my gas gauge doesnt seem to be calibrating correctly...i am 100 % sure i have no gas in it....how do i calibrate so i get the right reading....please help

so you took off your needles and screwed it up instead of just sliding the gauge overlays around the needle?

pretty mcuh yeaa....it wasnt that easy it was a cheap product

go fill your alero up with fuel completely, take apart the gauge cluster and put the needle on above the full mark where it usually is then it'll at least be more accurate
