You know what that car really needs? A sweet hood like the one in your sig. Heck, I think I have one in my garage exactly like it if you need it, complete with the heat extractors. :coolio:

I'm not sure what you're getting at.. that's his car in the signature, which means he has a "sweet hood" like the one in his sig.. complete with those hood scoops. o_O

dude how did you get a dry sump!?

part of my new setup i'm buildling for better performance and longevity, not to mention the new really shallow oil pan makes the routing of custom headers much easier and more productive......:yahoo:

oh yeah but if you build an ecotec, you can buy a dry sump setup ready to bolt on from ARE

what kinda hp numbers do you expect to have ?

kwhauck
12-02-2007, 05:45 PM
well, i hate to speculate but somewhere north of 400whp for sure.....

the tranny was built for 500whp daily driven.......and the motor is being built for consistent abuse in the 15-20psi range....so we'll see.....

kwhauck
12-25-2007, 10:24 AM
282 getreg
close ratio gears (not sure exactly because the tranny shop has the build sheet)
fully cryo hardened (output shafter, gears, LSD, everything!!)
very rare gleason/torsen lsd
94 case with internal slave cylinder
4puck ceramic clutch

Whole tranny was built to handle 500whp daily driven......

Nice. Did you get the 4DFF gear set? There were a handful of those floating around. Either way I think you might actually be worse off than with the regular V6 gearset. But that Torsen is a blast for sure! I have one and it wasn't cheap! The 94 internal slave is also worlds better than the older styles.
