heres an auction on ebay for a really good WAI. I got it and love it. Fits perfectly and comes with everything needed. Thought I'd share for those who are looking for one.

btw, I know the pic is an ecotec, but they sell intakes for both.

i got mine used with a k&n filter for $40. my buddy owned a shop and some guy got a cai and left him a wai. makes a bit of a difference especially when you step on it.

where it is, a WAI pulls air from the engine bay which is hotter
A CAI pulls air from near your fender/wheel well area, making it cooler than a wai
searching would probably give you more information, and maybe even some pictures

oh ok thanks. so im guessing i have a wai. all i did for now is take teh air box out and add a cone filter on the end of the plastic tube that was already there. when i get some more money im going to replace all teh tubes with the chrome pipes.

lol you know there's always gonna be one idiot who somehow screws it up and ruins something.
then of course he blames them because there's no instructions

Thats probably the same reason why theres warnings on cigarette lighters : "Flame could cause a fire" or on some hair dryer :"Do not use in the shower"

thats the same as "Caution, contents of cup hot" on coffee at any major fast food place
a lady actually sued McDonalds over that a while ago when there were no warnings and won...you'd assume that people would know coffee would be hot but we all know what happens when you assume...

Yeah and she got 30 millions out of it. Those warnings are for Darwin Award winners. Like I already notice on a chainsaw "Do not try to stop the chain with your hand" DUH!
