South Meet???

Alright... not sure what kind of response I'll get from this.. but I'm always reading about the Midwest, and Northeast regions having get togethers and everything! Why don't we come up with some sort of meet... I mean being in the south we can pretty much have it at anytime of the year! Well... chime in and lets see if we can get something going, also if you have any ideas on when/where???!!! :D :D :D

when arranging this, keep in mind the south region extends from new mexico to florida.... needs to be somewhere in the middle to have a good turn out... posiibly mississippi or alabama?????

Actually I was thinking that New Orleans would be an awsome place to have a meet!! It's very centrally located... what do you think?

I live only 45 minutes from there...Always can show off ur rides at the Lake Front. Pretty nice rides out there on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm in for the meet...if it's not in JULY c/I have to work a month of TURNAROUND at the plant. 7 12's....darnit.

When is the only true issue for me? we do actually need a descent amount of time to get plans made, when we do finally decide I'll take friday off to drive up and monday off to drive back, that gives me the weekend to chill, but I have some things to complete on my car first.

I live in both Dallas, tx and New Orleans, LA.. I go back and forth. I goto school in dallas and my parents still live in New orleans while i'm occupiing their 2nd house in dallas.

As of right now, i'm still lookin for work. Hopefully i'll be bringing some income b4 you set this up. New Orleans would be a better place for me. Haven't been since i was like 4 and it's only 3 to 4 hours from me. That wouldn't hurt my budget too much. Atlanta though..................that'd be a stretch. Hey, who's heading up this project?

New Orleans is deep south Louisiana, so I don't really see how that is centrally located, north LA. or Dallas would be more central than New Orleans? But I don't know where everyone is coming from?

I do goto car shows around from the following states: texas, mississippi, florida, georgia, alabama, louisiana, arkansas, oklahoma. Yup I put 35k miles on my car last year driving to shows.

for any of ya'll that aren't from too far down in the south, i'm having a meet the week of july 15 in NC....Charlotte to be a little more specific, which is at the bottom of the state for those that failed geography in high school. Stay tuned for any updates, but it'll be a good time for sure.
