I have heard nothing but bad things about OBX... Damn near 100% of the comments I read say they copy a high-end product with K-Mart quality materials and throw it up at a fraction of the price of the original product.

I'm going to steer clear of OBX in my build... I recommend you do the same.

look at their box.. they copied Tenzo Racing Sports's logo. The R and the "racing sports" are exactly the same, they just replaced Tenzo with OBX

But I dont think Tenzo make an intake for the 2.4 do they?

Yeah I see what your saying I am doing my mechanics of material and typing... not the best mix sometimes.

Looks alright to me, just judging from the pictures. its kind of odd how the bottom of the large piece is flat rather that having a smooth transition, but if you can fabricate some yourself you could easily smooth that out.

a guy on j-body.org was the guinea pig. he bought one, and couldn't even get it to bolt up to the engine. i think he ended up welding a new flange on to it. the runners didn't even line up with the head.

Not to mention with all those hard angles it doesn't even look like it would flow that good.

OBX learned from F&F and made sure the naws won't blow the welds on the intake

it is a copy of the venom intake which is a copy of the plastic POS stock intake. not even worth $9.95

I noticed they make headers, i bet there the same eh? Is pace setter the only way we can go for headers?

pacesetter is the only ones that make a header for the n-body. however rksport, stan's make one for the j-body which will work but the O2 bung must be moved

i have a Tsudo stainless header for the j-body. but, like Oldsman said, i had to move the O2 bung. any local shop should be able to do it. however, i had to get my own stainless steel bung for them to weld. then, we just stuck a bolt in the other bung to seal it off. works fine, and could be sold to a j-body or n-body owner later. they're on ebay for pretty cheap. great welds, great materials, but it blued from the heat EXTREMELY fast.

read the thread, it's pointless to get one, it's the same thing as the stock one, but in aluminum

Ive seen an OBX intake for a honda, and it was junk. The runner had a huge flat wall in the runner where they welded the runner to the flange that had a tube already. The ports don't line up and the one injector hole was half blocked by the head (total mismatch).
